These are beautiful! Are they anyone's characters, or just drawings that you've done? The reason why I asked is because I'd love to use them as a semi-reference (not using the actual image, just garnering ideas from it) for a character's coat colours. Would that be okay with you?
These are not "characters" they are just color studies of coyote markings from photos. I would recommend you try looking at photos for markings ideas and doing your own interpretations same way I did here (I got the references for these on flickr.com)
Its just a coloration, a dilute of black. Extremely rare in coyotes and most of the time it only shows up in pups that have dogs near down in their ancestry (coydogs). I dont know the "correct" term for the colour but I just call it chocolate. Along with strawberry red [link] , leucistic (false albino) [link] , melanistic (black) [link] , and blonde [link] its an extremely rare and hard to find colour but can occur in any species of yote C:
