Puya by CoyoteMange Puya by CoyoteMange
Rock Stack Witherling • Amorphous Strain
Puya are a levitating Witherling — the higher they build their rock stack the higher they float and the longer their roots go. The bottoms of their roots drag along the earth and pick up smaller rocks to be placed on their stack; they devote all their time to balancing them perfectly and must move very slowly to ensure that they do not topple over.

Wow... Beautiful. I don't know, but it's reminds me Botanicula. Do you know about it?

haha oh noooo I can imagine one of these floating along, then suddenly their rock stack tips over, their levitation kicks out, and they fall to the ground upside-down, flailing their little roots at the sky

maybe another witherling can help them get up if that happens
